FunFest 2024 - The Fun Experts Family Fun Day

At The Fun Experts, we know how to bring joy to any occasion, and our very own Family Fun Day was no exception. While we had hoped for bright blue skies and sunshine, Mother Nature had other plans, delivering a bit of rain. But we didn't let the wet weather dampen our spirits – instead, we embraced the challenge and moved the fun indoors, proving once again that laughter and good times can flourish no matter what the forecast says!

A Unique Venue: Fun on the Farm

Our event took place at, what is during the day a working farm, but undergoing a rejuvenation as an event venue (weddings, corporate events - even a spot of camping!). With its rustic charm and natural surroundings, the farm was the perfect backdrop for our day of fun and festivities. Although we had to relocate some activities inside, the space provided more than enough room for everyone to come together and celebrate. The farm’s blend of traditional elements with modern entertainment and amenities gave the day a cozy, welcoming atmosphere, perfect for bringing our team and their families closer.

Fun, Food and Festivities!

The Fun Experts are all about entertainment, and we pulled out all the stops. The indoor space came alive with laughter and excitement as we set up a range of games and activities for all ages. From competitive fun like Strike A Light and Bounce A Ball, to Whack A Mole, Prize Crane and the Dance Machine; outdoors despite the rain, fun still continued with Axe Throwing and a section of new inflatables including the Basketball and Rugby Pods. More fun indoors with face painting meant every family member had something to enjoy. The kids were especially thrilled, running from game to game, while the adults got to indulge in some friendly competition of their own - the Giant Sock Game!

But it wasn't just about the fun and games!  The day included a delicious selection of family favourites with burgers and hot dogs top of the list. No family event is complete without a selection of sweet treats either, so we made sure to include a dessert table brimming with cakes, cookies, and classic crowd-pleasers.

Awards and Prizes: Celebrating Our Fun Experts

As the day unfolded, one of the highlights was our special awards ceremony. We believe in celebrating the hard work and dedication of our Fun Experts, so we put together a range of prizes for both staff and their families. As the raffle came to a close, it was then time to celebrate the achievements of some Fun Experts...

Delivering an event for our customers is task that requires much effort from each and every Fun Experts. To deliver just one is an achievement, but to deliver 100, 200, 3 even 4 and 500...Now that's an achievement! 

Which brings us to our Hundred Club - an honour roll if you will for our team. As Fun Experts hit these 100 milestones, they're presented with their trophy and this time around at FunFest 2024, we had members joining both the 100 and 200 clubs.

The atmosphere was filled with laughter and cheer as team members were recognized not only for their work within the company but also for bringing their infectious enthusiasm to the event. After all, at The Fun Experts, it’s our people who truly make the magic happen, and what better way to celebrate than by rewarding them for their contribution to a memorable day?

Turning Rain into an Opportunity

While the rain may have prevented us from enjoying the open skies, it didn’t stop us from making the most of the farm’s indoor spaces. In fact, the unexpected change in plans gave us the chance to showcase our adaptability, bringing the spirit of outdoor fun inside. The combination of lively games, music, and camaraderie made it clear that fun is something we carry with us, rain or shine!

The Perfect Day for Family and Team Spirit

FunFest 2024 wasn’t just about games and prizes – it was about coming together as a team and as a family. The event gave us all a chance to relax, bond, and reflect on the incredible season we’ve had so far. With plenty of smiles, laughter, and high-fives all around, it’s safe to say that the day was a smashing success.

Whether indoors or out, rain or shine, The Fun Experts know how to make the best of any situation. FunFest proved that when you have the right mix of people, entertainment, and a dash of spontaneity, the fun is unstoppable. As we packed up and said our goodbyes, the rain might have been falling, but the spirit of togetherness and joy was soaring.
