Most years at the Fun Experts, April marks the start of a busy season of fun and now it's been and gone, we can confirm that this year was no different! Outdoor events were in full swing with weekend sunshine making an appearance (lucky for you!) and Fun Day bookings coming in quickly making our sales team very busy and all of our Fun Experts excited for the fun to come...
Update on The Funplex
While we know this will disappoint some excited people (oops), we have to announce that plans for The Funplex are being put on hold... Okay, it might have been an April Fool's Day prank all along, however it did seem to go down well with our followers, so while there are currently no plans in place for Lancashire's hot new theme park, who knows what the future has in store for The Fun Experts!
Hello Sunshine!
April events started off with a bang as we were blessed with our first warm weekend, the big one, Easter bank holiday! And for most of our Fun Experts, it was spent travelling around the UK delivering plenty of fun to outdoor events for the likes of Vibe UK, AceCrest, Colne Town Council and a big 50th birthday bash. The fun didn't stop there though, as sunny spells and action packed events carried on throughout April at Community Fetes, Fun Days and Promotional Events for Cazoo, Scania's TruckFest appearance and many more!
April 20th saw the busiest day so far of 2023 with some of our Fun Experts heading out on their first event of 2023 while others attended their first ever. The day was a huge success with blue skies, happy clients all round and getting the team warmed up and ready for some of our upcoming summer dates that are already fully booked!
On our end...
April has been a busy busy month for everyone at The Fun Experts from sales, logistics and accounts to the events team and me in marketing! If you missed our Recruitment Blog you might not have known that throughout April we've been taking on some fresh faces on our Events Team and have spent the last few weeks introducing them to the Fun Expert troupe at our Inductions. Later in the month, Fun Expert Dom organised a staff night out to a curry house in Preston town centre which was a great opportunity for the whole team to get together to catch up and welcome some of our newcomers with good food and a few drinks.
This month we also said goodbye to Billy, Fun Expert and Operations Manager of 4 years and it's safe to say that he, along with his stories and singing around the office, will be greatly missed by everyone at The Fun Experts as we wish him luck on his next adventure!
