A Different Kind of Donation...
At The Fun Experts, we believe in giving back to the community wherever we can, whether helping out local businesses, doing our bit for the environment or like in today's blog, donating equipment. So what better time to share with you one of our recent examples of using business for good than in the lead up to Random Acts of Kindness Day?
Covid Safe Equipment
Ahh yes, the dreaded C word (I bet you thought you'd heard the last of that!), cast your minds back to times when we were shut up indoors with gatherings of people being forbidden. I'm sure you can imagine that once restrictions began to be lifted, we were more than eager to get back to doing what we do best... having fun! But obviously we needed to do so safely, hence why we bought hand sanitiser and thermometer stations so that our clients could hold events that were legal, safe and of course, lots of fun.
Cut to Today...
Covid restrictions are now a thing of the past and business at The Fun Experts is back to normal, so with no more use for our Covid safety equipment, we wanted to help out a company close to so many hearts, by donating the equipment to people who need it more than us. St Catherine's Hospice is an amazing independent charity, with a purpose to provide quality of life at the end of life for all of their patients facing conditions such as cancer, respiratory and motor neurone diseases, across Preston, Chorley and the South Ribble area. Fun Expert and Logistics Co-Ordinator, James Hindle, recently headed to St Catherine's to drop off all of the equipment and meet some of their volunteers and staff.
